In Utah, there are around 2,700 children in foster care at any given time, but only 1,300 licensed foster/adoptive families to care for those children. On Monday, September 30th, Flourishing Grace is hosting a Foster Care Information Night. This information night is for people who either might be interested in being a foster parent one day, OR those who are interested in supporting foster parents at Flourishing Grace in practical ways as they love and serve children in foster care.

You can expect to hear about what foster care in Utah looks like from experts from Utah Foster Care as well as current foster/adoptive families and an adult who was in foster care as a child. You'll also hear about next steps you can take if you're interested in loving kids in foster care by being a foster parent OR supporting foster families at Flourishing Grace. Childcare is available; if you will be utilizing childcare, please register by September 26th so our childcare workers will be ready for the correct number of kids.
