Child Dedication at Flourishing Grace Church is an opportunity for parents to declare before God and their church family that the child who has just joined their family is a gift, and to ask for God's help—as well as their church family's help—in raising that child to treasure and follow Jesus.

A child dedication is not just about the new baby or adopted child. It is about the entire family. Standing in a church and celebrating the gift of your child is the first step, but following Christ and seeking His wisdom in the rearing of your child is the journey. 

Because child dedication is a moment where the child's church family—not just his or her parents—commit to helping that child follow Jesus, child dedication is reserved for parents who are partners at Flourishing Grace. In this class we will talk about what it means in more detail to dedicate your child.

The class will take place for 30 minutes after the second gathering on Sunday, March 9th, and child dedications will take place on Sunday, March 16th.
